AutoTrain is the trading name of EuroMotor-AutoTrain LLP. We are an e-Learning and Content Management solutions company which was spun out from the University of Birmingham in 2006 to bring your enterprise the skills and expertise that we have developed since the inception of EuroMotor in 1990 and AutoTrain in 1998.
AutoTrain specialises in the development of technologies for Knowledge Capture, Knowledge Transfer and Knowledge Management as well as the delivery of online training across sectors. We provide E-Learning Services to Business, Academia and Schools in addition to maintaining the E-Learning materials developed by the former EuroMotor and AutoTrain projects at the University of Birmingham.
AutoTrain builds on the expertise of a network of European universities and enterprises to offer specialist courses on automotive engineering and manufacturing. AutoTrain develops cutting-edge technology for the delivery of learning materials through the internet.
EuroMotor and AutoTrain were originally two successful, long running ESF (European Social Fund) funded projects that have gained their international prestige developing projects valued at more than a million pounds. In 2002, AutoTrain was selected as one of 17 examples of best practice in Europe in workplace e-literacy by the 21st Century Literacy Summit run by the Bertelsmann Foundation in Germany and AOL Time Warner.
In 2009 AutoTrain gained certification under the Accredit Scheme and was highly commended at the West Midlands ICT Excellence Awards 2009 in the Most Improved Business category.
