VLE Services

Our experienced team is able to provide a full range of services to help you gain the most from your Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

Hosting

If you need a hosted VLE solution, EA-LLP can provide you with a complete VLE solution hosted on our servers. Our VLE solution provides the following features :

Our hosted VLE service normally shares a server with other installations maintained by us. However, for an additional fee, we can provide you with a dedicated server for your VLE. AutoTrain servers are located in a secure data centre, with daily backups being held at a remote location.

Installation

If you want to have a VLE system installed on your own servers, but lack sufficient technical expertise to do so, EA-LLP provides a supported installation service. We can install a full VLE system (with the same features as the hosted service) for you on your servers (subject to system requirements - see below) and support that system remotely for you.

VLE System Requirements

Our VLE system is not resource hungry and will run very well on a cheap low end server system. The precise requirements will vary depending on the number of users and courses which you expect to have using the system concurrently. Our software is compatible with Linux, Unix and Windows server systems, using either the Apache or IIS webserver and a database. We may be able to support other system types on request. Our typical reccomended setup for a small, budget installation would be as follows :

Customisation

EA-LLP has extensive experience of customising VLE systems to meet a customers specific needs. At your request we can develop, install and maintain additional functions for the VLE platform. We are happy to develop customisations for both existing systems which you may already have, or for an entirely new system hosted by us.

Training

EA-LLP can provide training for your staff in both the use of the platform as a student, teacher and system adminsitrator. Training course can be tailored to you particular needs and carried out at your premesis.

Course Development

Our team has over 10 years experience in developing on-line training courses, we can work with you to develop high quality training material for upload into your VLE system.
