AutoView is a video presentation system which can be used to present videos with synchronised powerpoint style slides and subtitles on the web or CDROM. AutoView can be used to present both pre-recorded lectures and to broadcast lectures live.
AutoView is a cross-browser/platform compatible and can be used with the majority of commonly available web browsers and operating systems. Use the links on the left hand menu to find out more about AutoView.
The AutoView system consists of a number of seperate parts which build up to form a complete video presentation system, bringing the lecture hall into the home or the office via the internet.
Moodle Module
The Free AutoView Moodle Module has a built in editing mode which allows you to try out the construction of video presentations, but is limited to pre-prepared sources. You can find out more about the Moodle Module on the AutoView support website.
Live Capture and Live Lecture Plugin
This plugin works with the AutoView Moodle Module to enable videos to be recorded directly onto your server from your web browser to form the basis of a pre-recorded presentation. Alternatively, the Live Lecture mode can be used to broadcast your presentation to a remote live audience who can interact with the presenter via a built in live chat system. AutoView Live integrates with the Moodle authentication system so that only authorised Moodle users are able to both record and play back presentations.
