AutoTrain launches WinterHighland Android App

AutoTrain, in association with Winterhighland has written and developed an Android App which delivers snow report data for the 5 commercial snow sports areas in Scotland. The App has been written with a specially customised compression routine which reduces the entire report to just a few Kb enabling very efficient transmission of the report data to clients. This compression is particularly valuable in Scotland where mobile phone data connections are highly variable and are frequently inadequate for normal web browsing.
